We are expecting some 30 students from all over the world to arrive at the University of Southampton this morning to begin their Digital Marketing studies in this exciting and rapidly developing area.

I’ve enclosed the Induction slides where I plan to talk through the rationale of how students should approach their work in order to best make sense of the vast amount of information they will be exposed to, and how to develop their digital profiles to help manage and showcase their work for the benefit of future employers.

The first module – starting on Thursday and taught by myself and Paul Harrigan – is a basic introduction to 21st Century marketing to get everyone up to speed.
